What an odd film! I’m still not sure what was real, and what wasn’t… Which is probably the point.
The film is about a son who doesn’t believe his fathers outlandish tales of when he was a youngster himself. From meeting a witch, a giant, a paradise town, his service in the war, etc.
The viewer is kept wondering what might be true, and what isn’t. This really is the type of story that I don’t want to be vague – I want to know whether it was true, or whether it wasn’t!
Anyway, I enjoyed this film.
I give it 8/10
