The first movie that I can remember seeing with Charlie Chaplin where he has proper dialogue. I have seen another one that I can’t remember the name of – perhaps ‘Modern Times’ where he speaks too, but, not with any real dialogue, as in this film.
I thought the film was fairly well done, comedic, and yet serious at times too.
The speech at the end was excellent, but it also made me a little sad.
I give it 8/10
