Star Trek:
Well, what can I say. This movie has had everyone I know raving about it, but, I just can’t seem to get excited about it. And, I like Star Trek. Perhaps my love for the show and movies has gone away?
I will say that I thought the movie was good, yet it felt like a cop out to me. I don’t want to say what it was, because it might count as a spoiler, in case any random person comes across this.
The acting, however, was rather good. The emotion from the young Spock especially. I think young Kirk was perhaps a little more reckless than I expected him to be – but, he wasn’t captain of a starship at the time. 🙂
McCoy, however, seemed spot on, which is what a fair few other people have mentioned, I believe.
Anyway, it was still a good movie, but, not nearly the greatest thing I’ve seen, like some people seem to be making it out to be!
I give it 7/10
