A Steve Coogan film.
I saw this on a flight from the UK to the US. I was sorely disappointed. I had no idea it was done in a documentary style, a la The Office, but, in a much worse way, in my opinion.
I didn’t really follow the point of the plot too well, which seems like it wasn’t important anyway.
Most of the time, the characters were stupid, then sometimes they weren’t, then they were again. It was just difficult to feel sympathy, or be amused by any of it.
I really thought it was a waste of time. I only watched it to the end because I was really hoping for some of Steve Coogan’s humour that I am used to.
I give it 2/10.
