When I initially skimmed the synopsis to this film, IÂ did not realise it was a film based on reality. Much like Ed Wood. But, this was more because my history is rubbish, and also because the synopsis mentioned something reincarnation – which made me assume it was going to be a film about a general in ages gone by.
However, IÂ was pleasantly surprised to see a rock solid film, which IÂ realised not long after it started playing that it was based on reality.
I liked all the different temporary bases that they had. And how there was always a nice wooden desk no matter where the bases were.
I don’t like the idea of war, and would not normally have watched this number of war movies, but, IÂ did like watching this movie, the acting in it was absolutely top notch.
