A post apocalyptic John Carpenter movie. Crime has shot up in the United States and for some reason, they’ve decided to make Manhattan Island a prison. Once you go in, you don’t get out. Kurt Russell is about to become the newest inmate, until a plane crash lands in New York City with a very important person. He is then tasked with getting the VIP out, and if successful he will get a full pardon.
It’s an interesting view of a post apocalyptic New York City, entertaining enough, but it’s not a special film, in my opinion.
I give it 6/10.
