I’m not sure why this was on my list. It’s a kind of wild west film, but, set in Australia. It’s possible someone I was talking to on IRC recommended it to me. It’s been too long on the list, so it’s difficult to remember!
Anyway, it’s a bit slow moving at times, and quite violent too. But, it’s a very good film.
It’s about the police in an area of Australia that isn’t quite pinned down in the film, trying to catch a violent gang. The captain in charge decides to tackle catching the boss of the gang with a new plan, and that’s what this film is about really.
The scenery in the film is very desolate, and shows how barren parts of Australia are. It is good scenery. Even though there are lots of posed shots.
