Well, this film got a lot of fanfare when it was released. I’m not 100% sure why, after watching it. It’s good, sure, but, that good?
The film follows the life of the main character ‘Jamal’, his brother, and the love interest – from childhood, into adulthood.
Along the way, there is lots cruelty, happiness, sadness, etc.
As can be gathered from the title, money is involved.
The scenery of India in this film is absolutely amazing.
I give it 8/10
