Yes, I know it’s spelt wrong. It seems to be spelt that way on IMDB and on Lovefilm, so I’m going with it, as it was probably done on purpose – considering the spelling of happiness was mentioned in the film itself…
Anyway – a good movie, I think. It kept me interested in it – I had no idea it was a true story, and, I wasn’t totally sure how it would end up.
The story is about a real life person ‘Chris Gardner’ who falls on pretty hard times financially, loses his wife, and ends up doing an unpaid internship to become a stockbroken, while trying to look after his son at the same time.
It was moving at times, and kept fairly realistic too, I think. I’m not sure about the rubik’s cube bit, and whether that was supposed to have happened in real life too.
I did enjoy it.
