A film by the same director as ‘Spirited Away’ – this film is newer than Spirited Away.
What a weird film! I did not totally understood this story, I am sure. I however still enjoyed it. I have questions in why certain things were happening, etc. But, perhaps they are not meant to be explained?
It was odd how the age of the old woman changed so much during the story – I don’t mean back to her original young self, but, different stages of being old – i.e. being able to stand up straight some times, and not at other times.
I really did enjoy this film, for no real scientific reason.
I give it 9/10. It’s no longer in the top 250 as I write this, but, it was in the snapshot in I took in August.
