This film is about the rise to power of Genghis Khan. I know very little of the history of Genghis Khan, except that he was meant to be a ruthless leader who took over a large part of the world.
The film starts with Temudjin/Temujin as a child and his not particularly peaceful childhood.
There is violence all the way through the film, but the major war scenes only really occur near the end.
The only thing that I found negative about this film was that parts of it were very slow going and felt like they could be skipped. Otherwise this was a very good film.
