I think almost everyone knows what this film is about, or, at least, the premise of it.
Man creates being, being turns into monster, monster scares the villagers, and they destroy it.
I am in two minds about this film. On the one hand, I thought some parts of this film were excellent, yet, others were rather poorly done, and brought down the atmosphere of the film.
I think this film is a bit hit and miss, especially with the story development, and the monster himself too – e.g. why does Frankenstein end up treating him the way he does at the first signs of violence? It doesn’t seem a particularly scientific way of doing things, even if it is a movie.
I give it 6/10
