I wasn’t sure what to expect out of this film, I am not a massive fan of the Coen brothers, though I do like some of their films. I did, however, mostly enjoy this film.
The dialogue in parts was difficult for me to understand, and I had to switch on the subtitles at one part. I did not fully understand Tommy Lee Jones’s character in the movie either – right at the end especially. It ended oddly, for me.
It’s also far far more violent than I had ever expected! It does keep you watching, wondering what the hell is going to happen next.
This film did have a ‘stupid move by character’ part in it, but, I’m ignoring that.
I give it 8/10.
