Simply – very good. I’m not sure how I can describe this movie – it really is something that I think must be watched. It’s an interesting view of how the Stasi treated people (artists in particular) within East Germany, and the fear they caused within people.
This was given to me as a gift… I had absolutely no idea what it was about. It should warn you that the timeline goes back and forth rather rapidly! It is a very sad film, but I’m still not clear where exactly it was going. Probably will need to be watched a couple more times! Purely based on the acting, I think I’d give it 8/10 though.
Bit of mindless violence, things blowing up, etc. But it was kept reasonably interesting. Why is the police boss always so annoying in these cop movies?
