Oh dear. I had high hopes. I’m sure I had some friends who thought this film was good. It does have 7.0/10 on imdb as I write this, but I don’t understand why.
It was violent – expected, as it’s Dredd. But I thought it was a little bit too far. A little bit too much gratuitous violence. It seemed to detract from the story.
The psychic – well, I’m really not sure what the point of all that was in the end. It didn’t seem to bring much to the story at all in my opinion.
I wish I hadn’t expected it to be great, and just thought “well, it’s a film”. I may have been pleased at the outcome if that was the case.
I give it 3/10.
