I have to give this film credit – it wasn’t quite what I expected from the relatively lame synopsis. I thought it was just going to be any old action flick, with shit blowing up, and Bruce Willis being an arse kicker.
He was, but, not in the way you might have expected. There were twists to the story that I wasn’t really expecting, which made it more interesting.
I think Bruce Willis is a good actor, but some scenes in this film didn’t really seem to suit him. I can’t quite pin down why…
The hostage takers, and that hostages, however, I couldn’t care less about. They really did seem to be very formulaic characters.
