This was a mostly depressing film about the life of a wrestler who was a pretty famous character, but is now way past his prime, and leads a very lonely life.
It’s quite a tough film to watch – from the violence in the wrestling itself, to the life he has outside of the ring – it all seems kind of empty. Wrestling is the only thing keeping him going, but he’s not really living.
It is a good film, worth watching, but sad.
I give it 8/10.
