I mostly liked this film – I’ll point out what I didn’t like – that someone as naive as the Mr. Smith wouldn’t realistically ever get to be a senator. I could be wrong, and, I know this is a film!
But, ignoring that, this film was excellent. The little guy against a big machine of corruption. His innocence, and aim to do the right thing. The pessimism he faces reminds me of myself too, which is shameful.
Oh, and James Stewart seemed so young!
I give it 8/10
