I did not realise this film was made by the same director who made La Dolce Vita – a film that I didn’t like very much at all (in hindsight, I’d now probably give it at least 5/10).
This film follows the days and nights of a prostitute in/near Rome. In the beginning she appears to be rather happy, but something soon happens to change that.
The middle part of the film tries to expand on what she really wants out of life, and is quite touching, and, a bit depressing too.
The last part of the film is just better watched than explained.
I give it 8/10
