I haven’t got a whole lot to say about this film. I thought I’d watch it, see if it helped me like Prince’s music better. I’m not so sure it did.
I personally thought the movie had rather poor acting, and a really crap storyline. The scenes with the music were better, but, I’m not a big fan of some of Prince’s music – and only a few songs appealed to me here.
The humour with Morris Day was good though. And I’ve just read that he was in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back – that had been bugging me from last night until now! I had no idea who he was when I watched that movie though.
I give it 4/10.
