Audrey Hepburn’s first real film, apparently. And, she seemed a natural in it.
The film is about a princess who decides to take a break from a hectic schedule while in Rome, and escapes for a day, and experiences life as a ‘normal’ person.
It’s a very sweet film, Gregory Peck is fantastic in it too.
You can probably see where the film is going to go – princess runs away, meets up with guy, falls in love.
However, I did not expect the ending to be the way it was. Talking about the ending will of course give it away.
I give it 7/10
