I assumed this would be a very serious kind of film, for some reason. I am glad it wasn’t. It reminded me very much of ‘Robin Hood: Men in Tights’. Of course, that film is a spoof of this one!
Anyway, the action in this film was rather good, especially for the time, the sets too, and the characters were fairly well done, cheesy though some of them may have been.
It was a genuinely enjoyable film – but, I’m not sure why it’s IMDB top 250 – it doesn’t feel like a ‘classic’ movie.
I give it 8/10
