Movie: The Big Sleep (1946)

The Big Sleep:

A private detective is hired to clear up some blackmail being thrown towards a rich family. That’s the start of the job for the detective in this story.
Obviously, things aren’t quite so simple, and it gets more complicated. Especially as the private detective doesn’t seem to want to give up in finding the truth, even though he no longer has to.

It was an entertaining film, though perhaps a bit too complicated to follow at times – I’m not very good with names in real life, let alone in films, and there were rather a lot of names in this film. I also never figured out the whole Mexico thing.

It’s worth watching for Humphrey Bogart though.

I give it 7/10
