An interesting religious type of movie. Where a mad (not sure what else could describe him) preacher happens to convince almost everyone around him that he’s a good man.
The good and evil, love/hate thing finally made a bit more sense – I’ve seen the tattoos elsewhere in films, but, can’t remember which ones.
The film’s production seemed to be fairly low budget, scenes just didn’t look right a lot of the time. Also, the story seemed to move rather slowly for far too long.
The acting, though fairly good in general, seemed to also feel very fake at times. Yes, I understand the preacher was faking most of the time, and the audience was meant to see it!
I still enjoyed this film, and the ending was ‘sweet’.
