I totally forgot – I watched The Shining on Friday night (Halloween!) with a couple of friends. Absolutely fantastic scenery, and a pretty damn good story. Great acting too, perhaps a little overacting by Jack’s wife, but then, who wouldn’t be freaked out in that situation?

Tonight I watched ‘A Few Good Men’. I think it was also a very good movie. Not IMDB top 250 (but then, neither was Malcolm X or Wall Street). Tom Cruise’s character is annoying at the beginning, and he turns into a good character, which seems a bit too formulaic for my liking. I did find the story quite compelling though. I wanted to know how it was going to end. I knew what was almost certainly going to happen, but not how.
7/10 for this one.
